Economy Mode Active

Hey,

This is a weird one! I think I'll take to the dealer but let see what you think...

There is a car park I have been to twice now, it is under a building with bright lights keeping the area lit. With my new car, that has the NG4 in with an o2 Sim inserted, I have come back to it and both times it says "Economy Mode Active".

It's very strange, I mention the o2 Sim because there is no service down this car park and when phones have no signal it drains the battery trying to find some, so maybe the head unit is looking for signal.

I park underground at work everyday so I know it's not an issue with light sensors or anything.

I just can't figure out what's so special about this car park that is causes my car to go into Economy Mode.

Anyone else had something similar? In case you're wondering it's the Grosvenor Casino Brighton car park.

I have never heard of it. But suspect that your theory that the phone seeking a signal is causing the problem is incorrect. I live in a tiny hamlet. I too have an 02 sim inserted and l have no signal at home. My car can be parked up for a week at a time and I have never had it go into economy mode. I have had an RCZ for almost a year now. So maybe a trip to the stealers is in order.

You need a software update. Take it to a good stealer.
