DUPLEX EXHAUST ON THE RCZ

We recently outfitted an RCZ with a duplex exhaust with twin tailpipes: price all in £699. This is not one of those add a fake tailpipe mods. We take off the rear valence and run some pretty complicated pipework to give you a working duplex exhaust. At the same time we also offer different levels of sound as we make all our silencers. All comes with a lifetime warranty. There are at least two other twin tailpipes that will fit in this tight area that we offer.

Estimating less than 10 lbs. for the extra tube and extra tailpipe though to be honest we did not weigh the system we took off vs. what we put on.

Always a tricky question as it differs by car and OEM exhaust we are replacing. If we are replacing a baffled silencer(s) we normally see a 3-7% increase in fuel economy reported by our customers which is indicative of a bhp and torque increase due to our silencers being 'flow through' (not baffled). Flow through silencers create less back pressure leaving the engine with more power. Some sports models' OEM silencers are flow through though I do not know if the RCZ are (this was our first RCZ mod and the customer took away the OEM exhaust to sell on so we could not cut it up to see). Issue 162 of Redline Magazine (Dec. 2010) did a pre and post rolling road test of our exhaust and two others on a Subaru Impreza and the Longlife exhaust won with impressive gains of +30BHP and 70 lbs. of torque. I would download the article but not allowed to.
