One of my DRLs isn't working. Well I say it isn't working - it doesn't work when on auto lights but works on every other setting. Have I got electrical issues?!

If its a drl then car must still be in warranty take it back to a dealership to sort out.
Just read your signature it's a 2010 model these didn't have drls they had fog lights.
Has there been an upgrade?

The 2010 has running lights too, just not LED.

I would suspect that the issue is with the bulb rather than anything else to be honest. It may have shaken lose in the connection or may simply need replaced. That'd be my first point of call.

I'm forever changing that same bulb. Every 4 or 5 months. The other DRL hasn't needed changing once!

Which bulbs are you using?

Oh just bog standard Halfords ones.

If it was the bulb, surely it wouldn't work at all? Like I said, it works on every setting except the automatic lights setting (when it's daylight and only the DRLs are on)

Possibly but not necessarily willfox. There could be an issue with the connection/wiring but personally I'd try swapping the bulbs over from one side to the other first to establish if it's the bulbs. If it is I'd upgrade to a better bulb.

The standard DRLs have two filaments in it (i think), so maybe there is a little too much voltage going to the drl filament, but the sidelight filament is fine.
