Dilemma - which wheels with pearl white

Hi everyone - brand new on here and just about to place an order for a pearl white GT THP200. Spec going onto it includes: integral black leather, black calipers, black front grille, nav, JBL and vision.................but I cannot decide on the silver 19" sortilege or the onyx black Solstice. Head says sortilege, heart says onyx.

What are the general views on which sets the rcz off best?

BTW anyone have pics of an rcz with front skirts on?

Thanks in anticipation!

I had same dilema but eventually decided on the Black Onyx Solstice but I really like the Sportilege too. There is a pic in the Gallery of a white / with sportilage combo.

A serious consideration is the keeping clean of the rims...if you're naturally bone idle like me the onyx soltice are a God-send as they always look great  . However, as you've opted for the black brake calipers perhaps they might be shown off better with silver alloys. Just a thought. Happy deciding :p

I would say black onyx... but that's my personal opinion - here are some photos of white with black onyx for you:

good luck choosing...

oh... and here are some front spoiler pictures... is this what you are looking for? or do you mean the mesh as part of the feline pack?

Sortilege for sure. The black ones make the car look a bit to mean. Sortilege in silver looks clean and composed.

Thanks for all the responses - I think I may be heading for the silver - test drive should be on Friday so all being well will be ordering then. Thanks for the offer RCZGT200 but I prefer the white mirrors (small thing I know but still important). I am based in West Yorkshire by the way. Never thought of the cleaning issue but you are right BangorRCZ, black probably always looks clean. But Helen RCZ and RCZ1, I like both of your descriptions for the silvers!!

Does anyone know what the current delivery times are for the pearl whites as I heard there were long delays on these in the recent past?

My understanding is that the delayed delivery on Pearl White has been resolved. Although some people are still waiting for their cars to be delivered ( ordered 8 months ago ) My advice is to get your dealer to advise you on this before you sign the contract.

By the way.....the mirror covers can be changed. RCZGT200's offer will get you a car ever so quick. Just get it serviced in Yorkshire. It will also give you a nice drive home ;-)

No problem , if you want me to see if we can do you a deal on a factory order to your choice of spec PM the details of what your local dealer offers and I will see if we can save you a few pounds

The latest update from Peugeot was that Pearl white is a march build but this may now be creeping into april.

Spoke to my dealer today as well as Peugeot Australia and my pearl is now a March build. They blame it on my dealer quoting the wrong production month when i ordered but im not so sure.

Strange as mine is a Pearl White which I ordered in November and was told Build in February. I was contacted last week and given march 3rd as delivery date , so mine must have been built to plan unless they have got some bad news for me ?

Don't panic Adrian. :)

I'm pretty sure the mistake is with my dealer. They took my order in January and told me I had been allocated a February build. Apparently the February build was already full and mine had actually gone into the March build. At least that's what my dealer says. That certainly fits with your order timing too. If there was a problem I think you would already know about it by now.

When we were looking at the Pearl White it was going to be the Black Onyx rims. Just felt it was such an "aggressive" contrast, real racer look without going overboard.
