2010 1.6gt - youngest sons pride and joy - ordered and collected update cd for the sat nav to prevent shut down after 30 mins £2.32 all in although we had to tell the dealer the part number... after 1 false start when the update stalled AT 25% it LOADED all ok but as we were finishing the engine started to hunt and whilst didn't stall ran very lumpily and engine management light came on running on 2 -3 cylinders - plugged my sealey vs863 in and it won't communicate - sealey suggest the obvious try it on another car which i will do tomorrow but never had an issue before with our family fiat, citroen, nissan, skoda, landrover, mg cars... disconnected the car battery and this reset the lamp and the car runs ok == we did see u1208 fault code as a pendng but to me it seemed as if when the engine was pretty hot whether there is a failing col or spark plug ideas/suggestions ALL weloome
