Ok which detailing product(s) would you most like to try a sample of ?

It can be most things but bear in mind items which are flammable cannot be sent by you or I, via Royal Mail.

Fire away and we'll see what we can come up with :)

Hi Kerry,

Just a question, Whats the best product to use on the silver arches as mine are quite badly water marked.

Ive tried using autosol but they are still not shiny and you can still see the water staining.

Any ideas please would be gratefully accepted

Jase
use baby oil on cotton wool pads, wipe on and then clean off with a clean cloth,
it works for me

I just clean car with water, then apply a mixture of autoglym shampoo and conditioner..rinse and then chamois dry .apply a wheel wax to the alloys and thats it really.Car was treated with Diamond Bright sealer by dealer and dirt just runs off it really.I find thats all i can muster up the energy to do these days.Am pleased with the results i get anyway. I have always used autoglym products before and been really pleased with results.Detailing is a new word in my vocabulary, im a kinda wash n go type. Not convinced with all the magic potion (and costs) these days.
Trust me squire, once you pop you can't stop. Detailing can be a relaxed job if you wish it to be and you will see and feel a vast improvement. I totally rate it now and it doesn't have to be expensive, choice products will last yonks and help protect. Go on, you know you want to ;)

Take a real close look at your car. No, real close. I would wager that it's far from perfect especially if the dealer had applied Diamondbrite.

That's fair enough t44amk
we all enjoy doing different things don't we :)

There's nothing wrong with the sealants themselves. It's just that due to time constraints that the valeters have, they are not going to prepare the paintwork as well as it should be, before applying it. I had this applied on one of my cars that I bought brand new. They sealed over water marks and swirls. That's how I discovered detailing, trying to find out how to rectify the problems that the dealer had inflicted. That's what really got me interested in looking after my cars properly.

Angelwax do products for matt paint which are good and very well priced. I'm using a lot of their products at the moment which are proving very good.

Shampoo

Wax

Bears Wax Factory also do a discount. If you are interested let me know :)

There are more and more companies offering products for matte paint these days so you are not short of options.

Thanks for the quick response. I am still using Peugeot products which were in a car care kit in the boot of the car when purchased, they do the job, sort of. There was no paint protector/wax though.

You definitely need protection on it, like a wax.

Here we go folks - a special offer for all your lovely RCZ owners.

5 samples of Gyeon products for £20 delivered.

Everyone is raving about these products so don't miss the boat. The cheaper way to trying them out

The sample bottles will be 50ml (except Wetcoat which will be 100ml) so enough to get the most out of the products and see how they perform. You'll get at least two uses out of them but probably more (remember less is more!).

Products are:
Gyeon Q2M Bathe (shampoo)
Gyeon Q2M Bathe+ (shampoo with coating properties and will prolong the lifespan of Wetcoat)
Gyeon Q2M Wetcoat (a spray on coating which lasts up to 3 months. Wash the car, spray onto a wet car and power wash down - car protected for 3 months).
Gyeon Q2M Tire (long lasting tyre dressing)
Gyeon Q2M Cure (similar to a quick detailer - removes finger prints, water drips and adds gloss).

The one single thing that Gyeon products do really well is add great gloss to your paintwork. On top of that they are very easy to use AND at the same time provide great protection for minimal effort.

C'mon don't miss out on this great offer
