It's probably because it's about as wide as a tank (in a good way)! Wouldn't beat yourself up about it, it's annoying but also easily done! I can't wait to see the pics of all these gorgeous glistening RCZs!!

Re: Detailing Sample Solutions - The answer to trying it fir

Sharon, I did a similar thing with my last Z. Putting it away in the garage, I have to fold the wing mirrors to get it through the initial opening. One night just clean forgot and scraped my wing mirror. I did manage to sort it out with polish and elbow grease

I look forward to seeing the fruits of your labour :)

I have 3 days off next week ...... ;)

As promised, application instructions for the products that have appeared in the sample boxes so far.

Any questions, please just ask

Detailing Application Instructions:

Car Chem Snow Foam

Foam Lance directions: Use 100/150ml per car, dilute to suit foam system.
Don't top your foam bottle up to the top with water. 3/4 full will be enough for a fairly thick snow foam and good cleaning power.
You can also use this product through a pump sprayer too.
Pump Sprayer Directions: Dilute 1:25 parts water for light soil and 1:15 for heavy soil.
A very effective pre wash cleaner.

Chemical Guys Mr Pink Shampoo

Only a small amount required. Can be diluted 1:4000.
1 or 2 capfuls only required.
Can also be used as a snow foam.

Gtechniq G6 glass cleaner

A couple of sprays onto a clean cloth and then spread over the glass. Buff with a clean cloth. No smearing !

Car Chem Clarity glass cleaner

Again, I prefer to spray the product directly onto a clean cloth (less wastage). Spread over the glass and then buff with a clean cloth.

Gtechniq P1

For normal paintwork correction P1 is the only polish you will ever need. P1 produces great finishes both by machine and by hand. It can remove scratches and swirls by hand.

Consider using a pad like this by hand

Finish Kare Extra Slick Quick Detailer

Finish Kare #425 contains polymer Resins with Lubricity, Anti-Corrosive Agents, UV Inhibitors and Patented Anti-Static Agents that gently remove fingerprints, smudges, and other light contaminates while creating a winning show car finish with lasting protection and reduced dust attraction.
Leaves the finish so slick that it Eliminates the need for constant washing. Excellent for use on paint, glass, chrome, gel coat, fiberglass and plexiglass.

It can also be diluted 50/50 to make a very good glass rain repellent.

Car Chem Spray Wax

Spray Wax is an ultra-slick quick wax spray that allows light surface contamination to be safely wiped away, while simultaneously laying down a thin protective coating of carnauba wax and gloss enhancing polymers.

Developed to be temperature insensitive, streak-free and safe on all non-porous surfaces, Spray Wax indefinitely prolongs the life of natural carnauba wax finishes and adds extra glossiness and slickness to paint protected with Performance Finish.

Use it dry for fast touch-ups, or use wet after washing your car to quickly restore the Just-Waxed look.

Auto Finesse Tough Coat

1: Ensure surface is clean, dry & free from contaminates.
2: Using an applicator sponge or microfibre cloth, apply sparingly to the surface without pressure in small overlapping circular motions, to ensure complete coverage
3: Once cured remove excess with a microfiber cloth.
4: If "patching occurs apply a second coat, this will even the coating

Chemical Guys V7 Hybrid Quick Detailer

Hybrid V7- uses state of the art optical gloss enhancers and a process of RBA- Rapid Bond Acceleration to deliver a transparent high gloss finish combined with a durable protective coating for paint, glass and virtually all exterior surfaces.. Utilizing a proprietary bonding system Hybrid V7 can also be used in detailing and maintaining rubber and plastic exterior surfaces delivering a durable and invisible UV coating that 100% non-greasy or "waxy".

Spray onto a panel, spread with a cloth then buff off with a clean microfibre cloth.

Car Pro P.E.R.L.

While it can easily spray, it has great cling to keep it on the surface with life time up to 3 months. PERL has no chemical solvents which can cause damage to tires; furthermore PERL contains high degree UV protecting to keep the surface from yellowing, cracking and sun damage fading.
Car Pro PERL will stop leather from cracking and protect from dirt and stains penetrate the surface. Treated surfaces require less cleaning and will remain in like-new condition. It restores the original finish to vinyl, rubber, plastic, acrylic, and leather. P.E.R.L and vinyl surface stay supple, flexible, and retain their color with regular use of PERL. All surface coated create satin shine, non greasy, non oily absorbing substance, and with great smell as well.

PERL is a water based formula provides great durability on all tires, interior and exterior trim, vinyl and dashboards.

How to use?
Dilute PERL with water; pour into sprayer, ready for use.
Clean well the surface from dirt, oil and dust
Shake well before use
spray on surface from 20cm distance and wipe off with MF .

On tyres and rubber can be applied with sponge applicator.
Recommend dilution ratio (parts to water):
- External plastics - 1: 3
- Engine - 1:1~3
- Tires - 1:1
- Interior rubber / dashboard / leather / vinyl - 1:5

Planet Polish Wheel Seal and Shine

Just one easy application of Wheel Seal+Shine gives up to three months continuous protection (2 coats 6 months) and does not require re-applying after subsequent washes, removing the need for damaging acid or solvent based wheel cleaners. A quick wash is all it takes to remove any dirt, dust and grime and renew the stunning finish.

Apply thinly to all 4 wheels then go back round and buff off. Very easy to apply and buff.
