Dent in roof arch

Can anyone help? I've just noticed a dent in my one roof arch, the dent is approx 2mm deep by 15mm wide, I've been to a local body shop and they were not very helpful, saying I would need to go back to the dealer and get a new roof arch, which I believe are some £500 to £750 each.

Does anyone know of any possible solution or body shop who could make a repair?

Any assistance would be grateful.

There are often roof arches on ebay. Might be worth having a look on there as they are usually a reasonable price.

It's possible that you may be able to get the dent removed but I'm sure someone with far more knowledge about this sort of thing will be along to help you shortly. :thumbup:

Have you tried talking to a PDR man? (paintless dent removal) My step son is one and has his own business. Depending where you are from he may be able to recommend someone

you could try the dent puller that I used on my arch you can find them on eBay around £8 I posted a walk through on here somewhere a while ago.

You have to be careful. I have a dent in mine also. After trying to get the dent out, its left little veins around the dent, and the dents still there
