Delivery Times

Ordered mine on Saturday (19 June 2010).
Delivery time late September / early October 2010. More likely to be the October date I think.
(2.0 HDI163 in Dolphin Blue).

Hi All, been looking at the RCZ for a while and went to my local dealer on Saturday all ready to sign on the dotted line, until I asked about delivery times for the 200bhp model and was told that the 200bhp model will not start production til September, but I can order and it will be 12 weeks from then, which means just about Christmas! How did you guys get 200bhp models?

If it helps there are some mid build 200bhp's being sold now for delivery July!!!!

Hi Davetappy, do you think that my dealer is fobbing me off? I ordered my gt200 at the end of April, have been quoted 1st Sept. Yet I've seen several people on here who will be getting theirs much sooner, mid July... They've been saying that they don't know when they'll be in the country - clearly rubbish going from what you guys are saying...!!!

why dont you order it now and get one of the early production models? If you wait til sept to order you will be at the back of the queue. By ordering now you should get one of the first available.

Hi Henrik,

From what i've been told, dealers are given a limited allocation of delivery slots, so could be your dealer has already sold all of the cars allocated to them year to date. I ordered in May and got a July delivery date as I was only the second person to place an order with the dealer (i'm guessing the person who ordered ahead of me got a June delivery).

You might have more luck phoning round some other dealers, some might have slots left for August/September.

hi, im new the forum- not sure if this will work/get a reply etc. i ordered my car on the 14th august from charters in aldershot, hapshire. rcz gt petrol 156bhp.
how long is the average waiting time? its only been 5 days so i have not been given a build/delivery date.

To answer your question - well how long is a piece of string?

As its been said before - there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. I'd guess that it could be November/December but there again it could be October.

What colour have your ordered?

My build date is supposed to be tomorrow (22nd).
I feel a call to my dealer next week coming on.
