Hi All,

Im considering getting an RCZ as Ive liked the look of these when they 1st come out. The problem I have is the badge........its not badge snobbery but Ive had bad experiences with Peugeot's in the past with reliability and terrible service.

Ive recently sold my XKR having previously owned a Z4 3litre twin turbo DCT, Audi TT 3.2 which ive never had any issues with, Im interested to find out if Pug's have turned a corner and sorted there quality control and reliability out.

The reason im looking at one of these is the look, reasonably practical with the boot and folding rear seats (so I can get my golf clubs in with no issues), better fuel econonmy over my past cars and something abit different that you dont see everyday. My other option, dare i say it is an Alfa Brera ProDrive.

For the last 6 years ive been driving Autos, so would like your opinions on the Auto box and if the gear changes are good and if the car is any slower that the manual box. Ive test drove a rcz sport in auto and a rcz gt in manual and honestly I found the auto box so slow in comparison.

Id be looking for a face lift, with low miles.

Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

The automatic gearbox is only available with the lowest engine spec, i.e. THP156, which is still OK but far from the cars you had before. I've only driven HDi powered RCZs so can't share actual driving experience.

Thank you, yeah I checked that. To be honest as mentioned, the auto felt a lot slower than the manual when I tried the both.....which was THP156.

I already made enquiries about that one. They offered me far too little for mine & I can't justify to my OH spending the difference on a car that according to her "is the same as the one we've got" :brickwall:
