Not to go into too many details of how my abstract mind works, we've decided on the name of our new baby. On Friday we will welcome our little girl into the bosom of our small, disfunctional family. Her name is Lola and yes, she's a showy girl :) A moment of clarity at 2am this morning after several glasses of chard' sealed the deal. I hope you all approve.

Once walked past the Copacabana while on holiday in Cuba and have a degree of respect for the work of Mr Manilow. Add to that the fact there are both male and female attributes I can associate with our new baby, the musings of Ray Davies also fit the profile (male - power and a masculine grunt that would terrify a Wildebeast, Female - a butt you can sink your teeth into and the knowledge she's going to bleed me dry :) ).

It's also a nightclub in the northern quarter of Havana, not too far from the Russian embassy.
