Hi peeps :wave:

Having been good for most of the year... I've decided to try my luck *fingers crossed behind back* and ask Santa for (or a helping hand towards) a brand spanking new set of beautiful gleaming alloys , however my questing to you guys 'n' girls is... what width are my wheels (235/40/19R) 8J or 8.5J? as according the wheel-sizes.com... 235 = 8J, 240 = 8.5J and 245 = 9J etc, which doesn't seem correct to me as I though mine were 8.5J

Please advise

If they're standard 19", then 235 from the factory.

Although, you can stretch narrower tyres on to wider wheels. Something I take the VW gimps are fond of.
They can keep it as far as I'm concerned.

Yes they’re 8.5” wide, I’ve seen some 20” alloys from the guys who supplied mine for a bargain price, but can’t upload photos at the mo due to Tapatalk not supporting the forum anymore. :thumbdown:

I believe I've come across these before... I think they're called spider depending on what brand you can buy them under as a lot of aftermarket alloys are sold under various brands.

They’re from Autoworxteeside. Search on eBay or google them They’re just getting a website sorted and just remember our will have to buy spacers to make up the offset.
