Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask …gave my car good clean this morning including under bonnet - just taken it for drive and after a few minutes the dials on the dash ( speed revs oil fuel) all lost power then almost immediately came back on then few minutes later did it again….about five times in 30 mins. Have a dislodged something in my cleaning or is it possibly more serious Thought I’d get a view before ringing my garage

Have you used any fluid cleaner near the battery?

I'm not sure if wiping around the battery would disturb any fuses as you would have to remove the covers to access the fuses & relays so unless there is a loose connection somewhere & this would possibly cause intermittent loss of power if its resets itself after driving for a while it may be a low battery is the cause?
If you often see the "Economy mode active " warning this again points to battery voltage & the car also has an inbuilt function referred to as a " load management " system which stops some auxiliaries working if the battery is too low to supply enough power required

Thank you - I think I had a new battery start of the year - I’ll take to the garage - ex Peugeot dealer - and get checked - just wanted some ideas in the hope my total lack of knowledge won’t get me ripped off ! Thanks again
