Cylinder head motor

The oil light went on and level was low when checked.the car wouldnt start-just advised the cylinder head motor needs replacing.
does anyone know what exactly this means or has anyone had this happen.the car has only done 45,000km

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a cylinder head motor :eusa-think:

You should check the oil filler cap & see if there is any sludge type build up in it or round it, this could indicate that the cylinder head has gone. This should be accompanied by your coolant level dropping.

If there are no indications of the above. Top up the oil - (1st thing to do anyway) try starting again. There should be some kind of fault code listed, some members on here have the software to tell you what that might mean.

If the car isn’t starting, do you mean flat battery or is it turning over but not firing?

Which variant RCZ do you have? Diesel; 156; 200; or R? What year is it?
