Hello, what experiences do you guys have on cutting the rear valance/diffuser to fit quad-exhaust? Is it easy to do it and is the result ok? I mean, can you get it to look as the left one? Thanks in advantage!

My hubby did mine for me when i had the zunsport quads fitted, in with the fitting instructions was a template to cut the other side of the valance, a little bit of fiddling to make sure it all looked in keeping with the other side than out came the electric jigsaw with a fine cutting blade & bingo a perfect cut around the template markings great, if you do have the jigsaw this made it so easy with a little patience it can be done, well after a few glasses of port he sailed through it

Yeah dead easy with the template and a jigsaw
And with the angle of the valance, unless you cut off way too much, its not noticeable if you go slightly wrong.

Yes the Zunsport comes with a template, the only exhaust system that does. However I can supply it in a PDF file if requested. Just send an email to me at [email protected] with your request.
And as others have said, having the right tools to cut the rear valance and taking your time it will look great. Always remember to measure twice and cut once

Thanx for your answers :thumbup: is it possible to remove the valance without removing exhaust? Only attached with screws?

You can try although it might be challenging with the factory tips in place. It does attach with screws and snaps onto the rear bumper piece.

If you have the original factory chrome end pieces still on the car these are attached to the valence.

Now I have the Remus-quads installed. Along with the system came a drawing how to cut the valance. I can afterwards say that it is now as easy job as it seems. It is not possible to cut without removing the valance and the example-drawing is not very good. (the one that came with the exaust-system) We had to work a long time to get it right and now the result is good :beer: I can agree with someone earlier - it´s better to measure twice and cut once :thumbup: And remember to check and compare with the left "original" cut many times if you want it to look same in the end. I can post a pic of the final result soon.

It was very fiddly doing mine not an easy job but with a hubby who has a lot of patience a couple of glasses of port he did it for me :thumbup:

I am about to do mine and wondered as I have a oscillating cutter if it would be possible to cut the valance without having to remove it ?
My template states that it is put on the face of the valance so believe that they are referring to the part of the valance that is visible from the rear.
