Hey just checking

Picked up a replacement dipstick from MWK, I think it’s the cravenspeed easy read one for mini

It’s a little longer so needs chopping down, is this the correct alignment for the readouts? I’m assuming the end pointed on the original is irrelevant?

Cheers

The end part, having a larger diameter, prevents the area where the level is read from rubbing against the duct

Ahh I see, so to stop the readout area from “touching the sides” and getting any oil from the duct that’s been coated on pull out?

Makes sense cheers

For my chop is my new alignment correct as I only have the one node, I’ve seen some on here have two nodes as the readout, mine is 156 thp

Thanks

Chopped it up as per alignment above (single node) took around 65mm off with some wire cutters, no need for hacksaw. About 30mm sits inside the “handle” pushed up until the end

1.5mm Allen key for handle screw

Noted the level reading with the old one and new one held vertical shows same amount so spot on

No chance of this one breaking…
