Custom RCZ Air Vent & Central Clock Covers

Here's a little something I've been working on for little while that I wanted to share with you as I have now have moved from design prototype to final production stage.

I wanted something cool and a little different inside the cabin so, loosely based on the on red air vent bezels seen on the Bimota RCZ Special Edition, these are exact size bevelled anodised red alloy covers that simply attach to the inners of the existing air vents and central clock with pre-applied 3M sticky foam tape.

I fitted these in about 3 minutes and they can be removed again in the future if desired with no damage to the regular vents. :thumbup:

I'm really happy with the results - what do you think?






Cost wise they work out at around £30 for a set of 3 which I'm fine with as I think it makes a real difference to the interior and I've spent much more on other things for cars in the past! lol

I initially envisioned these just for me but if any other forum members particularly want a set I can help you out, no worries. :thumbup:

I had thought that Chris, but then there would also be all the dial surrounds to consider. I think it is probably just a central thing. :eusa-think:

You're right, these will also fit the vents at either end of the dashboard as well but I only got 3 made in the first batch so that's why they're positioned where they are.

I will definitely get 2 more to complete set of 5 now I know I'm happy with the sizing and fitment though.

Would be nice to have matching ones for the speedo, rev counter, temp gauge, etc. too but those are different sizes so that's probably not going to happen any time soon.

I may be interested too.

You could have one around the clock and the 2 side air vents, to break them up a bit.

Unfortunately not. Anodised items are generally all the same shade because of the production process:

You could, of course, paint or spray them any colour you like though if you wanted to I guess.

Ladies and Gentlemen, fresh off the production line and delivered to my doorstep today came a box of the aforementioned custom red air vent rings. :dance:

If any fellow forumites would like a set they're £30 for a set of 3 or £45 for a full set of 5 with free UK postage (if you live elsewhere on the planet, that's fine too but I'll have to add on a little to cover shipping).

Limited numbers available and they are going to be more expensive than this when I get them up on eBay in due course but wanted to let forum members have first dibs!
