Corroding Wheels And Oil Around Spark Plugs

hi guys

Have any Of you had issues with corroding midnight silver alloys (not kerbed) but the paint is beginning to bubble in places?

and oil around the spark plugs and on top of the inside of the bonnet?

my car is 12 months old today and only covered 12k

is this a warranty issue or is it normal?

I think a trip to the dealers is needed :eusa-think: I wouldn't accept the corroding wheels (I assume you're not neglecting them, no-one neglects an RCZ!).
Has it had a service yet? I know the handbook recommends 20K but i think that's an awful long time, I think you should book it in for a service anyway seens as it's a year old. Get them to look into the oil issue too.
Pug are good when it comes to warrranty issues, if you read more threads you'll see that.

Certainly doesn't sound normal so I would pay a visit to your dealer. Hope you get sorted soon.

My local Peugeot garage were fantastic at dealing with my issues and made the process effortless. Strike up a good relationship with the main dealer and you wont go far wrong.

Maybe it's a bit of a postcode lottery then Ron. Perhaps myself and Figo have struck lucky.....

Hi There.

I had identical issues with my car, the alloys were replaced but I never got to the bottom of the oil leak, I just remember it sprayed oil over the top cover, I think it was something to do with the breathing system, I would get it checked ASAP.
