Does anyone know what fuse the engine cooling fan is. Today it was very hot under the hood. Normally after 6 miles drive to home when I switch off the engine the fan can be heard running. But I can only hear a very low humming noise. Last week when stuck in traffic for an hour going no where the car threw up an engine code repair required but when garage read it it was fuel pressure. Temp gauge says max 90 usually between 80-90 on a run

Why the fuse? The fan is as you say working & temp is normal & fuel pressure issues would not normally relate to engine temp unless the engine is running a weak mixture which can cause overheating but the car would not run normal on acceleration & especially at tick over if fuel air ratio was affected plus the fan being electrically controlled may mean varying speeds for engine Cooling control they can reach up to 3500 rpm in severe heat temps as is happening at the moment
