Hi, as a fairly new RCZ owner bought mine (2011 156hp ) just 3 monthsand 10000km ago.
Last Saturday after a 6800km vacation trough whole Europe I got the message check coolant when I started my engine.
When I did, the sensor was right and the coolant level in the reservoir was far below minimum.
As the car is in a 1 year warrenty from the dealer I called them and asked to have my car checked to make sure I am not loosing coolant.
Long story short, another Peugeot dealer (closer to my home) checked the car and filled the system with half a liter of coolant and gave me the story that this is normal behavior for the HPT 1.6 engine the RCZ has during driving the 10000km I did last months.
As far as I know, the cooling system is a closed system and coolant should not be consumed at all. None of my former cars needed me to top up coolant ever.
I would love to know what your experiences are in regard of "consumption" of coolant with your RCZ's just to make sure the Peugeot dealer is telling the truth.
