Coil Packs - Weak Point?

Just wondering how many others have had to replace their coil packs?

We have a 2011 200gt and we just had to replace all 4 coil packs last month and my step-moms friend's 2011 156hp RCZ just had hers fail 2 days ago.

Figured I'd post up to see if this is just a random coincidence or if it's a trend us owners should know about.

Re: Coil Packs - Weak Point?

It is a known issue, especially with the Mk1 RCZ. There have been quite a few reported cases on here.

All 4 of mine have now been replaced. Is there not an upgraded coil pack that isn't prone to breaking?

I don't know if the ones fitted to the Mk2's are modified. But there doesn't seem to be the same number of reported issues with them compared to the Mk1's.
