Hi,
My RCZ (1.6 THP 155 from 2013) failed the emission test. The CO value was way too high. Lambda was perfect. Oil consumption is - in my opinion - ok for almost 150.000 km and is approx. 0,3 l / 1000 km. I changed the converter (and yes, it is a used part since I'm a cheap guy). The CO value was much better but still too high to pass emission test. My question is: Do I really need a brand new converter or is there a chance, that the converter was only part of the problem, the replacement is working fine, but there is still another problem that causes a too CO value. I am running out of ideas and need help before investing almost 1000€ into the wrong part.
