I'm sorry but I just don't like Murray. I love tennis it's so exciting to watch and there is always drama, but just can't stand Murray. Although I am glad a British player had won!

I think just because he don't act up like other " catalogue friendly sports stars" just to get on the front page of the tabloids he tends to get negative press.

Don't like him why exactly? He conducts himself admirably in my opinion and, like Jactac says, keeps his private life and personal affairs private and away from the pages of the tabloids. Rooney et al would do well to take a lesson out of his book!!!
A Scot who came from a small Scottish town that is sadly synonymous with violence and tragedy. Gifted with talent, blighted with injury early on in his professional career and successful through grit and determination. A true role model in my eyes. Ok...so he isn't the most eloquent of people but so what?!?! Have you ever seen any modern day British footballer interviewed...ever?!

What a game it was Djokovic was a gentleman in defeat,Andy l never was really drawn to him but after last year's final,l think we all saw the real Andy Murray,a true world class champion,for any person to come from a nation as small as Scotland and win competition like this is truely amazing. :beer:

Now...personally I'm more of a fan of women's beach volleyball. Any sport that enforces a strict law on how small the kit must be for female participants is ok with me!!! :lol::lol::lol::lol:
