Look at the BMC filter topic and picture below,remove the three screws on front of plastic rocker,and it will slide out of the three hindges you can see at the rear of picture,get a hoover out and suck out the dead creatures you will find,takes about five mins to remove :thumbup:

i was bored some months ago,so removed the cover and surprised how many things i found on the induction pipe and top part of filter,anyway as stated hoover out filter looked like new, :wave:

Sorry failed to mention,a phillips will fit but use a slightly smaller thread with a small handgrip as the access is tight,there are special multihead phillips type tools but be patient and it will unscrew with a conventional one.
