Hi guys my rcz currently comes with the basic display screen and I am wondering f it's worth going to peugeot and getting the Navigation pop up screen fitted I find it cool and like the music display better and also the navigation system which will definetely come in handy. I heard that currently the uk nav system only takes 5 digit postcodes but if I am correct most of the uk uses a 6 digit postal address lol . is their an update ? Anyone got any other issues with their nav system ?Is it worth doing it ?I think cost is just under £1000 fitted by Peugeot and also is their any alternatives and cheaper methods or should I just buy another rcz lol .that would surely solve it

I think you'll find this is prohibitively expensive.
As I understand it, there is a great deal of wiring changes behind/under the dashboard. They never appear or have offered this as an after delivery upgrade, so I'm guessing it's just too fiddly/expensive to do as a commercial offering.

By all means enquire & I'm sure many would be interested to know what you find.

As an alternative, some owners have replaced the existing non-sat nav radio with aftermarket systems. Have a browse of other posts and you'll see what has been achieved.

The 5 digit postcode issue has now been resolved through updates, but I have a feeling it might be a better option to swap your Z for one that has this system fitted if it is something that you really want.

As Pete said, if you find any info from Pug regarding retro fitting, I am sure there are many on here that would be interested, but when you consider the cost of a top range TomTom or Garmin which would have more features, although it's really cool when the display flips up, the price comparison would probably sway most people into buying a stick on.

Good luck with your upgrade quest

Thanks guys appreciate it going to do a bit of research and try to find the part and get a garage to fit it . Can anyone recommend any good garages in north west london ?. would have been good if peugeot made it a standard feature like what VW did with the scirocco and audi doing with the new shape A3 and A1 :p. If it can't be fitted I guess I've have to sell sad times . I checked out a few other post on guys who have used the after market brands just won't feel the same i recon and may look out of place but may be an option if I cant find one that blends infront of the cd player nicely
