Carpets with GT

Hi all
I managed to get free mats and boot mat for my GT, I now see that GT's get free mats. Does anyone know if these supplied mats are the optional Velour mats?

Yep standard in the GT.

I got mine free and it even says in the spec of the GT they come with it

Ahh but are they the optional velour mats as they show as a cost option for a GT on the May price list?

The sets I have seen are identical.

I doubt your dealer will be giving you the dealer fit carpet mats when the car comes with a set of carpet mats as standard.

Still cant work out why you would want to buy velour mats for the GT when it has velour mats as standard :crazy:

hi rcz white i picked my gt up on friday and it had just got the normal carpets not velor other than that ara you enjoying your car

Yep, both the standard velour mats that come with the gt as standard and the dealer fit version of the same are front only. They dont seem to do rear ones....you may think that it gives an insight into how often peugeot think the rear seats may be used...i couldnt possibly comment :eusa-shhh: :wave:

Can you confirm if the standard and the dealer fit versions are the same?
As a sweetener the dealer offered me front mats and a boot mat, at that time the GT did not come with front mats.
The May price list now shows mats as a standard fitment on the GT but the choice to buy velour mats, hence the confusion.

Yes the toy model is fun :dance:

I have to wait until September, not just because that is when my company changes my car but that was the 3 month lead time I was quoted, I still don't have a build or delivery date! :eusa-think:

Ive just had a look at them , the label on the back has the same manufactuer and part number...yes they are identical ! :thumbup:

To my knowledge they have always been standard on GT - I have a dealer spec from November 2009 showing them as standard.

i asked my dealer dealer this question he said only a 2 seater car and all the cc range only come with front ones to

You need to have a chat with your dealer, they are classed as a 2+2, hence we have seat belts in the back.
