Why didn't you go for the carbon roof that Peugeot offer as an option - which is solid carbon, not just a wrap?

I priced a few places to do a carbon wrap. cost was a few hundred compared to Peugeots £1,000 option. The roof is not carbon fibre either. simply a Carbon Fibre facade bonded to the metal roof.

Yeah got a price today, few hundred quid approx to do the roof and mirror caps in a really high quality carbon wrap, it's fully textured and actually looks more like carbon that the OEM Roof!!!!, I'm having second thoughts today though about going for a stock car, might wait and go for a factory order!!! want pearl white badly!!!!!!

My advice would be to go for what you really want otherwise you will always be thinking what if?
It's a lot of money to be paying for something that is second choice. In the end only you can make that decision

fitted my carbon caps a couple of days ago, have to say they look really cool and elegant on my charcoal, unfortunately I'm missing the carbon roof which whould be a touch of class!
I've been thinking about using some carbon style wraps but I finally realized that carbon look is waaay worse than genuine carbon

@lolli, yep agree, i've seen alot of carbon wrap that looks really cheap and nasty, the stuff i'm going to use eventually is fully textured and does look the business!, lovin the sound of the carbon on Charcoal by the way!!!

fitted by a dealer, 1/2 hour labour cost, but you can easily do it by yourself
@doc, what's the color of your car? Do you have the shiny or mat carbon roof? Have you got pics?

I have the carbon roof option, and IMHO just finishes off the car with an extra bit of pizzaz :)
