Car Wax bad in sunny Spain

Could not buy car wax like Autoglym Super Resin on the Cost Blanca. A friend said it was because waxes are not good for the paint in the sun. However, I do need protection, not least on the aluminium rails. Help please.

Have you considered using a sealant instead if wax is not an option. That said it does sound weird to me that wax would be an issue due to higher temperatures

Firstly, Autoglym Super Resin is a polish not a wax. Autoglym HD Wax is what you need, if you are after Autoglym.

Waxes or sealants are a must particularly against UV rays. Your friend is incorrect to say that waxes are no good in the sun. You should be able to to order online from the UK if you can't buy in Spain.
