Car doesn't start. Making clicking sounds.

Hi All,

Today I couldn’t start my car.
The engine does not crank — it only makes clicking sounds (please see the video below).
Also, sometimes it briefly shows an “Airbag or seat belt pretensioner fault” message (at the end of the video), although not every time. As I understand it, even if there is an issue with the seat belt wiring, the car should still start.
Could you please let me know what I can check myself, apart from the battery voltage, before arranging for the car to be towed to a service centre?

As above sounds Batteryish if that passes then you may have an electrical circuit faults earthing open circuits or water ingress also but possibly not relevant when these cars lose power or even after power is restored they show up all sorts of "Ghost Codes" to make you think your car is in A&E but this is far from the case you could get your charging system checked if having to install a new battery & pay attention to the COLD Cranking Amps which can identify Alternator / Starter/ Battery issues
