Hi all,

I have been having so many problems with my RCZ that I've finally given up and sold it.

I do however have a brand new Pirelli 235/40/19 tyre never used, a jacking pad block, some Peugeot tyre valve cap with there little spanner and a beautiful RCZ-R Gear knob too..

I'm looking for £180 or nearest offer for the lot.

If your interested pm me

Regards an unhappy ex RCZ owner

Hi Jimbo40 :greetings-wavingblue:

Sorry to hear that you finally decided to give up your Z' ,,,BUT I can understand as I have a low tolerance threshold for poor product design ,,,especially when the faults are known yet denied or simply continued with. BELOW is generally wot I said in another thread concerning the jacking points of which I see your now selling your essential 0058RON jacking aid. The fact they even have to be considered is simply wrong BUT thanks go out to 0058RON for his service which many appreciate!

The Z' is an amazing car to look at and that cannot be denied ,,BUT and its a big RCZ 'BUTT' no pun intended  Had I read certain posts prior to deciding to by my 2nd hand Z' maybe JUST maybe I MAY have made a different choice because I know I will feel as you have should I unfortunately further suffer more of the known faults !

I appreciate all cars have their faults and peculiarities but there is a point when even the enthusiasts start to vote with their feet and that is usually long after the general public have already done do. Luckily I still feel the innate beauty of my Z' albeit its now tarnished by the fault/s that I and many others have suffered AND more so by the rectification process that the dealers adopt due to there being no OFFICIAL recall etc. I won't get started on the flickering Sat nav screen which is obviously a design fault in the routing of the wiring yet the song and dance owners have had to go through if their vehicle is still in warranty OR the your on your own if its outside the warranty period is a joke due to the actual nature of the fault !!

I've never owned a car for such a short period of time that has had me losing faith in it so quickly AND thats whether or NOT the faults develop or the jacking issue arrises. My overall trust in reliability is not as high as I wish it to be which I imagine is how you ended up feeling yourself ?? ...May your replacement car provide you with greater overall satisfaction.

.the big blue (,,HOWEVER, I still do a double take whenever I walk away from my Z' and for now that is reason enough for me to keep it ,,TOUCH WOOD) :)

Hi Jimbo40,
I totally agree with your views what a shame that Peugeot haven't stood tall and put all these faults right for owners who put there cash and faith in Peugeot, who lets be honest if the RCZ didn't look so gorgeous would never have given a Peugeot a second look.
I also am really disappointed with my Z but I just love the look and the design and at the moment I'll keep pumping cash into my Z to put right what Peugeot don't seem to want to. Maybe that's why there's rumours that Peugeot are going to drop the RCZ.

Good luck with you new Motor Pal.
