Brake Pedal Movement

Just noticed that there is a little bit of sideways play on my brake pedal - as in I can move it about a centimetre from side to side. Accelerator and clutch don't do it but the brake pedal does. The thing is I can't remember if it's always been like this or has worked loose somehow and needs tightening up. Can anyone advise if theirs is the same or not please? Thanks! :thumbup:

Just been out and checked mine.

Clutch and accelerator - no movement.

Brake @ 0.5 cm movement side to side. Don't think this is a problem :eusa-think:

Thanks for the reply. OK, that's reassuring - maybe it's normal behaviour then.

If anyone else can confirm the above too then I think we can put this to bed.

Mine moves about 1cm. But I tend to tap it a lot when I am sitting in the car with the hand brake on.
