Boot Velcro strap

Hello , in the boot on a mk1 there are 2 Velcro straps . Did it leave Peugeot with an umbrella or something and mine is missing ?

No that was the way they came think it's to put a warning ⚠ triangle when you buy one but as you say good for an umbrella that is what I use mine for..
