Has anyone with the facelift car completed a bonnet replacement from a prefacelift car . Mine has a dent in it after someone kindly took my headlight while parked. so I am talking only about changing bonnet and keeping the lights, front bumper as is. Are they interchangeable ? I know the pre and post facelift car have different headlights, grille/ bumper assembly, so cautious if there are subtle changes to the profile and fit ....the reason I'm asking is I can only find the earlier prefacelift car bonnets on EBay. The breakers I have checked with and also Peugeot parts dont seem to be able to confirm .

Get it repaired ?
Its possible but seems more cost effective to replace with an undamaged panel. Theres a dent in the wheel arch section of the bonnet from the headlamp / bumper line to almost the door . Its not noticeable unless you know its there ..... I've tried two bodyshops and they have quoted probably what might be reasonable for labour and paint involved ( mines white pearl which is apparently harder to paint , and they need to paint the entire panel >) but have advised the repair may still be visible and suggested replacing the bonnet as a whole.

I could live with it its cosmetic only.... Its just nagging at me ...knowing someone damaged it and drove off, and also knowing its there means I always see it :) and I want it fixed.

Or if the paint isn’t broken a good pdr might be able to sort you. I have had a few miracles worked on my pearl white, simply because I know paint matching would be near impossible as well as setting the flop of the metallic right.

It is awkward damage, not really PDR , the paint is broken as is the skin of the bonnet over the arch almost as if a flatbed has swiped it like a knife.. For now until I find a suitable replacement bonnet from a facelift car it will have to survive with filler and rattle can. What im trying to confirm is if the bonnets pre and post facelift are the same. There are lots more pre facelift cars being broken. I am trying ebay as well as online breakers . found what I thought was perfect and the seller advised unsure it would fit port facelift so didnt want to risk purchase / delivery cost on what might not fit.
