bmc air filter on a 156.owner [not mine] reports good induction sound from inside and out.but not much else ie speed/acceleration.others were considered but down to price. price £55

Ok, I have to ask..... What is the obsession with sound? I bought my GT200 because it was quiet. It is like being cocooned in a relaxing bubble.

Furthermore did u consider the K&N filter and why did you choose bmc in the end ?

If you want a good sound fit a K&N air filter.

If you realy want a good sound. Don't buy a straight-4-engine. V-shaped, or boxer engines do sound way better than a regular straight 4.
