Bluetooth

My dad recently bought a RCZ and is having issues with the Bluetooth, Does he need to activate it everytime he steps in the car? He had a new Mondeo before this and the Mondeo would instantly pick up the phone and connect but with the RCZ he's having to activate everytime he steps in the car and of course he's forgetting half the time. Any help would be appreciated :thumbup:

Its a setting issue in his phone. Everytime the RCZ is trying to pair up the phone is asking for authorisation.

He needs to set his phone to recognise the RCZ as an authorised device then it will pair automatically.

Yeah it's asking for authorization each time, will try and get his phone recognised....is there anything special you need to do?

Most phones have a setting in the bluetooth when you do the first pair up to "set device as authorised" if you dont do it then you will probably need to go into the bluetooth menu , find the devices list , find the rcz which is normally called "PEUGEOT" and then set it as authorised.
