I was playing around with my other Pug a few weekends back... And because black and white photos are more arty...???

2004 Peugeot 307 XSI (ew10j4) engine meets 1986 Peugeot 205 gti!

So the rest of the year is probably gonna be spent getting the car running again. Lots of work and money to go, but it should be fun once it's running again.

I had an mi16 engine in it but we siezed that on track due to oil starvation, so we decided it would be best to move to the ew series engine as it's more commonly available and doesn't have the oil control issues of the old xu series engines...

It's a money thing really. Managed to get the engine, gearbox, and ecu for 250 nzd! We are gonna use it as a mock up engine and then look to get a EW10J4S engine later. Although the ew10j4 has smaller cam followers and ports it does mean it's got more meat to make a custom port than the EW10J4S.

The EW10J4S is also a bit rare here so finding one at a reasonable price will be fun.
