Thought I’d better put some of mine whilst it’s just had its annual wash😜!

The UP! has just joined the stable having P/exd the 2008.It’s the 90ps which just scrapes under the 10 secs to 62 so is quite brisk.

Nice! I wanted a '64 plate, for no better reason than that I was born in 1964! Couldn't find one I both liked and could afford, though. Does SG mean it came from Scotland? As for the UP! (I take it the exclamation mark is de rigeuer?), VW's are good cars (dieselgate notwithstanding) - my first car was a 895cc '78 Polo, reg number DVX 38T. And, while I'm glad I went for a Z in the end, a Scirocco was quite high on the list of models searched for on Autotrader, etc.
The Polo's still on the gov.uk MOT listings, by some quirk of fate, though it hasn't been taxed in 30 years... I think someone at the DVLC must've uploaded the wrong file!

I could only afford it as it had been a Cat N about 3/4 years ago (front nearside I believe) and I paid £6500 in March.

A few cosmetic ,rear vallance straightened and re sprayed, and full diamond cut refurb relieved me of another £1k.

Mechanically it is spot on whereas my old 10 plate 156 had many common faults ,chain ,oil leaks, etc.,which this 200 has none!
