Battery died and now it won't fire up after changing it.

My battery died I bought another one and changed it .
But now it doesn't fire up has the engine light on on dashboard.
Seen a thread about the engine immobiliser stopping it.

You need to do the proper reboot sequence, o/wise the ECU will not allow you to start the car.
