Is there anyone changed the battery? Whose dimensions are correct? 242x190x175 or?

The correct battery is a 12V 60Ah ...what about cca? 540EN, 640EN,...?

This is what Bosch list for your (and my) car:
Voltage 12 V, Battery Capacity 60 Ah, Cold-test Current, EN 540 A, Length 242 mm, Width 175 mm, Height 190 mm
They also state that a change of battery must be registered with the control unit (ECU) so changing it will not be a straightforward DIY job! However, surely it doesn't need replacing yet?

I bought a bosch silver s5 battery - http://www.akkumulatoroutlet.hu/234-63a ... er-s5.html. My original battery is Varta 12v 60Ah with 640A (EN) CCA.
Service technician told me that after changing the battery don't need to be registered with the control unit. Is this for real?
The S5 is quoted as:
Voltage 12 V, Battery Capacity 77 Ah, Cold-test Current, EN 780 A, Length 278 mm, Width 175 mm, Height 190 mm
The one I quoted originally is an S4 which I would have expected to be the standard battery. With the S5 you have upgraded. By the way Bosch and Varta batteries are one and the same - different branding.
