Badges

Ok, I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere in the past, but I'm wondering what options I have regarding the badges. I've just de-chromed my MK1 Amber - I now have matte black arches, grille strips, U-shape bit on the front badge. All wrapped. However the wrapping company said the badges couldn't be wrapped so we just did a quick plasti-dip on the front and rear Peugeot badges.

Does anyone have any good ideas or any photos of what they've done to their badges? Also how easy is it to change the front badge? I thought I read somewhere that the bumper needs to be removed?

Thanks in advance!

Heres what I have done with mine.

You can take the front badge off just put undoing all of the top of the bumper. The badge threads through the bumper so has to be removed from behind.

You can take the lion off, and wrap over the holes, and either leave it blank, or put another badge in its place :)

I think that Abz has the most innovative badge on the forum. I can see how it might be tricky to wrap but I can't see how it can't be done!

Absynthe, how did you wrap the little Peugeot badge like that? Looks awesome!

So you don't have to take the whole bumper off - you just need to undo it at the top? Can you remove the whole thing, including the U shape bit? I had the U shaped bit wrapped, but the wrappers had to use two pieces to do it, as they said they couldn't get right into the top edges without removing the bumper

I cheated lol. It was pre cut and then stuck over the top ;)

Yes, just the top bit, two torx screws and four black plug things. You need some force to remove the bumper clips from the slam panel though.

The whole badge assembly removes.
