Just as a matter of interest, how the h3ll DID you manage to do that ?!

Did it just collapse? Keep us informed of what the diagnosis is & costs etc, cos it might apply to someone else on here at some point. :eusa-think:

Hope to borrow a Torx socket set Saturday to have a look see. Beginning to think it`s an electric motor problem.

So removed seat, unclipped seat cover enough to see the racket etc`, nothing broken that was obvious. moved it back and forth a few times and finally it locked in the flat position. took it back to the car and connected the electrics, used the motor to lift seat to approx. driving position, all good, re-fitted and test drove. Happy chappie. Saved me a few quid, as I nearly took it straight in to the dealers when it first happened. Fingers crossed it doesn't happen again especially when driving.

Hi
Took the car for out for the day, Sunday, going really well after a full service KN filter fitted. :D Another strange experience when travelling home ! Driving the RCZ in the dark ? Two and half years of ownership and my first drive at night in it. Must be a record.

At least it was good enough to turn it's own headlights on for you, newbie! ;)
