Newbie here.
I have always had a soft spot for this model....
I like quirky cars, so my taste/preference often get mocked amongst my friends.... but i dont mind it

Ive got into the position to look for an rcz one now. And i was wondering if i could get some advice

Im looking for a late model, manual, colour: white, black, dark blue, completely stock
I m going to keep it for long term, and i wont be using as a daily. Nor anny modifications
But prices seem quite high here

$19,000 aud for 2012 model with 80,000km manual

Is there anythinf mechanical i should watch out for?

Watch out for coolant leaks, thermostat, water pump or the pipe water pump to thermostat. Parts are cheap but getting to them is very labour intensive. These can fail every 50,000 km. Try to keep petrol above half way mark, to presserve the high pressure fuel pump (annecdotal). Check oil religiously, they burn about 500 ml for every 3000 km. Change oil every 7,500 km or 10,000 km. at most. If you keep to factory oil changes every 15,000 km. don't be surprised for engine damage by 80,000 km. Otherwise these engines can go for up to 200,000 km.
