Asphalt one month on...

It looks just like my Mercury Grey at the moment :dance: . I haven't been able to wash it for several weeks due to rainy weekends coupled with trips away. Perhaps when people comment that my car needs cleaning I'll just tell them its 'Asphalt' :lol: :lol:

Bit jealous here! It's stunning and if it had of been available when I purchased mine back in April I would defo have opted for the asphalt. Shame they didn't do a black version though.

So i've had the Asphalt for about a month now and have done about 2100 miles....so some more pics are in order :thumbup:

As you can see the paint is still as it should be...there was concerns from some that all sorts of things would happen. Pleased to report that the matt is still matt , the paint hasnt gone shiney or dropped off it or anything else :beer: Keeping it clean isnt too difficult , just shampoo and rinse with the odd bit of tar/bug remover if necessary :dance:

Sorry that the quality isnt great - only had the mobile phone to hand..

Looks stunning mate I like the grill too. The car looks great in that colour with those wheels.

I dont know if this is true, but I've been told that a limited edition of the Asphalt is being launched in Scotland ! ! it is to be called the Tar...MAC !!

No its Called Tar Mac Adam :lol: i know the name is rather tacky but its the best rcz yet hopefully with sportier editions to come :thumbup:

Will this come with tartan front skirts?

I BOUGHT ONE OF THESE BABIES TOO! WISH I HAD A FEW MORE QUID AND I WOULD HAVE PUT A MESH GRILL ON MINE. SO HAPPY WITH THE CAR ITS A BEAUT EH? THE CLEANER BAG IS COOL TOO, AND WHEN MY SHAMPOO RUNS OUT I THINK I"LL BUY THE SWIISSWAX ONE TO REPLACE IT. I BELIEVE I BEEN LOOKING AT THE CORRECT ONE, OPAQUE??, LET US KNOW IF IM RIGHT PLEASE. EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE TO LOOK AFTER THE "ASH" PAINT, ITS A PLEASURE TO CLEAN DONT YOU RECKON?

Yes you are right the Swissvax Opaque products are the ones to use on matt paint :thumbup:

Asphalt: I too was smitten by her looks and shapely curves... I picked one up last week and brought her home. Wife not too impressed with this third party - already getting far more attention than she does - entering in our lives. The situation getting worse when people say "she looks a bit of a goer" . I don't know if she is or not, I'm gently running her in...
