Are these common faults?

Had to take my RCZ in today following a recall and decided to get some other work completed at the same time, this is what needed doing:

Lumber adjuster on passenger seat broken and regularly falls off - new part ordered
Handle/Leaver on drivers seat comes off in hand when pulling seat forward to let in rear seat passengers - new part ordered
Vibration at R/H/S airvent caused by a missing cover fixing to lower panel - new part ordered
Lashing hooks underneath car removed as they were rusting badly and should have been removed at PDI

Other than this everything is absolutely fantastic

Certainly not heard of these problems before and have not suffered them myself. Sorry to hear you are having these issues. Things falling off just isnt acceptable for the cost of this car. As for vibrations and rattles, these drive me mad and I will go to any length to stop them!!! Hope all gets sorted asap.

The only issue in common is the rusty transportation bracket fitted to the nsr of the chassis.

What is really surprising is how on earth do they miss them when inspecting the car on PDI......

Not had any of these.

I did have a vibration on my clutch pedal (I have a HDI) which I relayed on a thread back in Sept 2010, but this was resolved.

I've had mine for nearly 8 months now, done 13,500 miles and "she" hasn't put a foot wrong  (apart from catching a kerb on one front and one rear wheel  but that's down to me).

Early days yet still (my last car was a Seat Ibiza TDI which did close to 160,000 miles), but looking good so far.

No make/model will be trouble free unfortunately (I've had relations who've had to send Mercs back with rust bubbling up through the wings within the first year!!)

Hope anyone with problems gets them sorted out OK.

Anyone experienced their car rolling with the hand break on??? Twice this has happened to me...once about 4 days after I bought the car and was on about a 10 deg incline so thought it was just a coating on the wheel break disc from delivery, but then this evening I was on a 5 deg decline and went to open the entrance gate to where I work, put the hand break on and it started rolling. I released it, pressed on the foot break, then put the hand break back on...still it rolled...repeated and still no joy...Eventually I had to jump out of the car, leg it to the key pad before it rolled into the gate!!....might have to visit my dealer!!
