Had my RCZ GT 2.0HDI 2012 for a week now and love it. Some great advice on here guys that the book and dealership don't tell you (or don't know).

SatNav, have ordered the upgrade disk (free, although the sales guy said I did not need it as it is a "LIVE" or something system, but think he was thinking of the maps). I also ordered the alloy foot rest from RCZperformance, pics of it look really good

Decided to buy the Marshall's extended warranty - kicks in for 2 years when the Peugeot one runs out in 18 months, plus has full monty breakdown cover for the entire 3 and 1/2 years. With no spare wheel thought that might be a good idea :D

There is one thing though, can anyone recommend a decent door protector to stop it getting scratched, as I have to park quite near a wall in my driveway. I don't want the chrome ones advertised on ebay as I think they will spoil the look of the chrome arches and at that price I wonder about the quality. The car is Mistral Grey with silver 19" sortilege wheels and chrome arches so any ideas would be great.

Agree with Abz - piece of old carpet or something.

I can't second that so I'll thirdsy it. Grit get behind those things and scratches the paintwork

Hello and welcome, we want some photos!

How about a well placed half a tennis ball on the wall?

Enjoy the smiles and miles.
Keep safe and keep detailing.

Yep if the parking issue is in your driveway, a nice rubber strip strategically fixed to the wall would be my choice

And welcome aboard matey

Thanks all, been on holiday so been quiet, but will follow up with pics soon.

RCZPerofrmance, got the foot rest, but must admit the install instructions were so badly copied and really just a black smudge on the pages. They were so bad I could not read them, I think you need a new photocopier  But thanks to the guys on here I did what they suggested and just screwed it in without any drilling and it worked perfectly. It took 5 mins and it looks really good.

It's a fairly straight forward installation. Just place the footrest where you want it, then using the footrest as a template drill 3 screws into the carpet and screw them in!! Five minute job and it looks great!!!

Oh and welcome by the way :greetings-wavingblue:

Glad you got it sorted. Installation instructions are from Peugeot directly as they ship them with the foot rest, but my apologies for them being so bad in this case. I will let Peugeot know ;)
