Thats right Matt, it's the Aston Martin Valante, I think it's the drop top.
And a quick look at google mentioned some versions of the Boxter, and Bently Continental . . . . . . . errm strangly enough there all drop tops :?:
I have another neighbour that works for a company that make interior quality inspection systems, he is a propper car nut, he has had a string the usual German cars,
and has just ended run of three Porsches.
when he came round to have a look at the RCZ, he liked the outside alot,
I said "what do you think of the inside" ?. . . then he said to me "you don't want me sitting in your car"
Knowing carl as I do, he tells it as it is, if you know what I meen !
I said "go on, be honest . . . . . . "
He opened the door, and unlike you or I, started to, what can only be described as INSPECT all the things that you would never think of,
he went straight for the folds in the leather, pulling at them with his thumb and fore finger, then he went inside, shut the door and looked to see if the stiching on the door lined up with the stiching on the dash.
At this point he had'nt said a word for about 2 mins, another 30 secs or so of pulling and pushing at the center console and stereo, then he started to look at the things NORMAL folk look at.
He said "well they have done a good job with the leather on the seats and dash, it's very hard to make the material fit snugley around the lumps and bumps without wrinkling. Do you know the dash isnt leather ?"
I did say he was a bit blunt.
He then said "they have been very clever in that they have kept all of the cheaper plastics out of site when your sitting in the driving position", something I had'nt thought of !
He said " they have made a good job of that, nice car mate.
Praise indeed from Carl :!:
I don't take much notice of what people think about things, I usualy make up my own mind, but it's always nice to get an expert opinion on something, and re-afferms what I thought when I first saw the car.
