AM I HAVING BAD LUCK OR WHAT

Well , there I was with my beautiful wife, beautiful day enjoying the RCZ and a lovely day at Newstead Abbey.........



I've come home (least I made it back thank god)
Depressed the cluch to reverse onto the drive ....and POP!!!!, SOMETHING'S BROKE
The clutch peddle remained in the carpet , I can't bloody believe it , the meet is on Friday , my springs were booked to be done tomorrow ..... I've looked under the peddle area and found this snapped ..... I'm flipping gutted , gotta ring around and see if I can get it done in time , DAMN THIS , I just know they won't have it in stock :0(




Even the cat heard me cursing

Oh man :( I hope it gets fixed mate :? Is there any way of temp fixing it if they dont have it?


P.s. On a lighter note. You wife IS beautiful. Some of the ladies of the forum will be heartbroken ;)

Mate I've tried for two hours to modify things for a temp fix..... I'm sooooo frustrated with it , dead hard to reach up there and work on it.... I'm still tryin though

Dont give up mate, youve got nearly a week :) Theres a car on ebay being broken for parts, you could look down that route?

If not, bring the TVR. You will be missed if you dont come. I would offer to pick you up, but you would have to fight my pregnant fiance for the passenger seat :p

It looks like the pin that goes into the master cylinder, but no part number on service box :cry:

Not sure , there's some numbers on it I'll have a look see if they correspond buddy

Thanks mate lol , if I can mend the end of it , cooool bananas
If I can't then it looks like a whole new cable , which means routing into that engine bay that's packed as tight as a box of coco pops :( , so dealer job and not so cool bananas

Those numbers on the above picture are what its made from.

PA6 GF25 IM L is a Polyamide 6 (Nylon 6) product filled with glass fiber. It can be processed by injection molding

Your like a bloody physics engineer lol how awesome is that , it should have been as strong as adamantium(wolverine) then or heavymetepolyalloy (terminator)
So why did it break ARGHHHHHH , :helpme:

I'm in the garage, that looks interesting Abz , I thought it would be a cable , looks hydraulic , bet it would need bleeding , wonder if that fits from inside the bay , bet it does thinking about it

Lainey, GUTTED for you mate!! However, it sounds like not even the Gods could hold you back from being there and, between you and Abz, I'm certain that you'll manage to get a fix!! Thanks Rizz , your a kind chap indeed , I say this pretty much upside down in an RCZ lol , and that's hard for 6"3' little me lol

Don't be so thick Abz. Lainey could drive yours and the pregnant wife can remain in the passenger seat. Oh that would mean you sharing the cramped rear seat with a pretty young lady............... What am I thinking :eusa-think:
