Am I correct?!

Hi all, still being new & browsing the forum I have seen people having issues getting the correct tyres for the 19" rims. Am I correct in believing that we needn't 'strictly' stick to these measurements? What are people using other than the 235/40/19's that are recommended? :eusa-think:

There's no issues as such, Barr the continental tyres are very expensive in the 40 profile and the same tyres with a 35 profile are good bit cheaper,

The factory 19" tyre sizes are found easily nowadays from several manufacturers, and as Jassy stated so are 35 series ones with the same width and diameter. As to what tyre manufacturer to buy and type of tyre, there are many threads on here discussing that already ;)

I've gone for a set of Hankooks on my VXR as they come highly recommended from the VXR fraternity and I haven't been disappointed!! I've got S1 Evos on that and on a 20ins rim and they're far better than the Pirellis that were on previously.
