I'm really sorry to see that aspects of this forum are becoming off topic and a little vindictive.
Surely we have a common interest in cars as a whole (maybe not just the rcz.)
I am not too proud to admit that I recently jumped on the Wrapper band wagon and for that I apologise, it was simply not justified.
This should be a fun, safe and informative environment where we can come together and enjoy ourselves.

This forum really does have so much going for it and it would be a crying shame for the initial sense of camaraderie I felt upon joining to be spoiled.

I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday evening and I look forward to a fun and productive time on here.

Kind regards,

Andy.

It did - within 24hrs and got more than asking price so all good there. Funds now spent on RCZ now fitted with Ulter Quads

Will be good to meet up again with maybe runout to Largs when the better weather finally arrives ! Sure we can sort something as would like to see yours again with recent mods.
Absolutely Norman, sounds like a plan

Andy I could direct you to the "Technical discussion" page under "Exterior" and "black roof arches" (page 4) look at my first encounter with wrapper (oh and Biggyrick also) after my quote of DKZ5745 where I gave my opinion.

Hi, this was not an attack or comment on any particular member I can assure you.
Just an attempt to clear the air and hoping to do so.

Andy.

Not at all Andy I never thought it was, I was just letting you see my first encounter if you was bored and had nothing to read :)
btw I'm not looking for you to reply or give your opinion on right or wrong, just read.

Sorry, I'm still pretty new to this forum and so don't know all of the history.
I'm sorry to hear there have been conflicts.

It just appears to be one of those things here that I've experienced Andy, I can shut off from the internet and get on with the important things in life and I'm sure if I met anyone on here including wrapper or Biggyrick I could easily have a pint and a bit of banter with in person, it's just very different on here.

This is an excellent forum and had a lot to do with me buying our RCZ which I do not regret. Lots of good info and thoughts on mods etc. Opinions are different in all walks of life and that's what makes life interesting and the world go round. Sure we all have little spats but life is too short so we should all continue to enjoy and participate on here

Well said, things just felt a bit strained recently. However as you say would more than happily meet for a pint with any member.
Life is to be lived, warts and all.

To quote pete.garratt from another topic "It's not opinions that are the problem.

It's the arrogant self-serving way they are delivered.

Just my opinion, of course."

Hope he doesn't mind me quoting him :)

Right everyone, I've tried to allow this thread to run long enough for everyone to air their views (which I think all have now done). I hope that this has perhaps allowed the air to be cleared a little. I have taken the decision to lock this thread for now in the hope that we can draw a line under things and move on. Andy Lanson made an excellent point about the reason why we came together as a community, the love of the RCZ (be it Mk1 or Mk2). This should unify us not divide us. We welcome a difference of opinion and healthy debate but please avoid personal attacks. This is a condition of membership for us all. A little bit of niggle is fine just not out and out harassment or abuse. This goes for every member be he/she new, senior, moderator...whoever.

This is not me getting on my soapbox but merely attempting to clarify things for everyone. Now...group hug?!
