how do I protect my alloys - just bought my RCZ from dealer - do they put wax on to hide small scratches which are now starting to appear?

Can you post a picture of the scratches please as I'm sure that would help.

If they used a valetor who uses an Acid wash then you'll end up with more trouble A ford garage burnt my eldest sons wheels which he ordered specially for his new Focus ST & the B****rds refused to accept liability ! Most alloys come with a high build Lacquer coating to protect from scuffs etc if unfortunately you have kerbrash or deep surface scratches these are harder to treat I use the touch up silver "brush in a tube" paint which blends in over time but never heard of coating with & anyway wax will wash off or drop off after the wheels become rather warm (Hot) with the heat from the brakes...
